Warranty
Stand-behind-it craftsmanship with warranty protection you can trust — because great work should last.
Every Iron Crest Remodel project is backed by comprehensive warranty protection. We stand behind the quality of our work with one of the strongest warranty programs in the Boise remodeling market — because we believe a contractor who does not guarantee their work does not truly believe in it.
Our warranty covers three distinct areas: workmanship, materials, and structural integrity. Together, these protections ensure your investment is safeguarded for years to come.
Workmanship Warranty — 5 Years
Every Iron Crest Remodel project is backed by our 5-year workmanship warranty covering all labor and installation performed by our crews. If any aspect of our workmanship fails or develops defects within five years of project completion, we will return and repair it at no cost to you. This covers installation errors, finishing defects, and any labor-related issues — no deductibles, no fine print.
Material Warranties — Manufacturer
All materials installed by Iron Crest Remodel carry their respective manufacturer warranties, which we pass through to you in full. We help you register every applicable warranty — from flooring and fixtures to siding and windows — so you have complete coverage from day one. Manufacturer warranty terms vary by product, but many of our partner brands offer 15 to 25-year or even lifetime coverage on their products.
Structural Warranty — 10 Years
For projects involving structural modifications — including load-bearing wall removal, foundation work, framing, and structural additions — Iron Crest Remodel provides a 10-year structural warranty. This covers the structural integrity of our work against defects in design or construction that compromise the safety or stability of your home. This warranty is transferable if you sell your home within the coverage period.

What does the Iron Crest Remodel warranty cover?
Our warranty covers three areas: a 5-year workmanship warranty on all labor and installation, manufacturer warranties on all materials we install, and a 10-year structural warranty on any structural modifications such as load-bearing wall removal, framing, or foundation work. Together, these protections safeguard your investment across every aspect of the project.
How long is the warranty on my remodeling project?
Our workmanship warranty lasts 5 years from the date of project completion. The structural warranty covers 10 years. Manufacturer material warranties vary by product — many of our partner brands such as James Hardie, Kohler, and Trex offer 15- to 25-year or even lifetime coverage on their products.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Call us at (208) 779-5551 or email info@ironcrestremodel.com with your project details and a description of the issue. We schedule an on-site inspection within 5 business days, and if the issue is covered, we provide a written repair plan and complete the repair at no cost. Our average warranty claim resolution time is 7 business days.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell my home?
Yes, our 10-year structural warranty is transferable to the new owner if you sell your home within the coverage period. We provide transfer documentation upon request. The 5-year workmanship warranty remains in effect for the original coverage period regardless of ownership changes.
What is not covered under the warranty?
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from misuse or neglect, modifications made by others after project completion, acts of nature such as flooding or earthquakes, or cosmetic variations inherent to natural materials like wood grain and stone veining. Product defects are handled through separate manufacturer warranty channels, which we help coordinate on your behalf.
