Workmanship Warranty — 3 Years
Every Iron Crest Remodel project is backed by our 3-year workmanship warranty covering all labor and installation on your project.
Material Warranties — Manufacturer
All materials installed carry their respective manufacturer warranties. These are third-party terms set by the manufacturer, not by Iron Crest — they vary by product line and we name the actual term for your products in your proposal.
- Defective workmanship or installation errors
- Cracking, warping, or separation caused by improper installation
- Plumbing and electrical work performed as part of your project
- Tile, grout, and waterproofing membrane failures
- Paint peeling, blistering, or adhesion failure from application errors
- Cabinet door alignment and hardware function
- Flooring installation defects (buckling, gaps, improper transitions)
- Normal wear and tear from daily use
- Damage from misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Changes or modifications made by others after project completion
- Acts of nature (flooding, earthquakes, severe weather events)
- Cosmetic variations inherent to natural materials (wood grain, stone veining)
- Damage caused by failure to follow maintenance guidelines
- Product defects covered under separate manufacturer warranties

If the issue is covered, we provide a written repair plan and timeline. For manufacturer warranty claims, we coordinate directly with the manufacturer.
Repair Completed
Our team returns and completes the repair at no cost. A follow-up inspection ensures the issue is fully resolved and documented.
What does the Iron Crest Remodel warranty cover?
Our warranty covers two areas: a 3-year workmanship warranty on all labor and installation, and manufacturer warranties on all materials we install. Together, these protections safeguard your investment across every aspect of the project.
How long is the warranty on my remodeling project?
Our workmanship warranty lasts 3 years from the date of project completion. Manufacturer material warranties are separate third-party terms and vary by product line — James Hardie fiber cement, for example, carries a 30-year non-prorated limited substrate warranty with a 15-year ColorPlus finish warranty, while Trex composite decking runs 25 years on Enhance, 35 on Select and 50 on Transcend and Signature. We name the specific term for your products in your proposal.
How do I file a warranty claim?

Does the warranty transfer if I sell my home?
The 3-year workmanship warranty remains in effect for the original coverage period regardless of ownership changes.
What is not covered under the warranty?
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from misuse or neglect, modifications made by others after project completion, acts of nature such as flooding or earthquakes, or cosmetic variations inherent to natural materials like wood grain and stone veining. Product defects are handled through separate manufacturer warranty channels, which we help coordinate on your behalf.
